Personalisering af VELUX Touch

Edit products

This article shows how to change the displayed order of the products in your VELUX Touch and how to delete a product from the control.

Edit your VELUX Touch to display your products in the order in which they physically appear. If you want to remove a product from the control pad, you can do it from here as well. Please follow the steps described below:

On your VELUX Touch

  1. Select the product category (Window, Exterior sunscreening or Interior sunscreening) to edit (depending on your setup, all categories might not be displayed).
  2. Select the product to edit by tapping the product reference number. The physical product will now move briefly back and forth for confirmation
    Hint: If you have more than eight products, you can scroll right and left using the small arrows.
  3. Select delete/new order depending on your desired action by tapping the icon below the horizontal line.
    Hint: To request the product identification once again, tap the product reference number above the horizontal line.
  4. Delete product.
    • Confirm product deletion.
  5. Create new product order.
    • Move the product to your preferred place.
    • Confirm new product order.

Edit groups

This article shows how to define your own group of products to be controlled simultaneously, how to edit the group name and how to delete a group no longer needed.

Edit your VELUX Touch to define your favourite product group(s) for simplified control. If you want to edit or remove a product group from the control pad, you can do it from here as well. Please follow the steps described below:

On your VELUX Touch

  1. Select your desired action within the product category Window, Exterior sunscreening or Interior sunscreening (add group ‘+’ / edit group ‘letter’.)
    Note: Depending on your setup, all categories might not be displayed.
  2. Add new group.
    • Select a group ID for the new group by tapping an available letter indicated by a dotted line.
      Hint: If you have more than eight groups, you can scroll right and left using the small arrows.
    • Select the products to be part of the group
    • Confirm new product group
  3. Edit existing group.
    • Select an existing group ID by tapping a letter indicated by a solid line. (If you have more than eight groups, you can scroll right and left using the small arrows).
    • Select your desired action (remove/add products, rename group or delete group).
    • Confirm modification to the product group.

On your VELUX Touch

  1. Pick your mobile phone/device, and ensure that it is connected to the internet.
  2. Scan the QR code displayed to reach the TouchHelp landing page.

Edit Close all products

This article shows how to edit your Close all products shortcut, i.e. to select the relevant product categories to be controlled.

Edit your VELUX Touch to meet your preferences. By default, the shortcut closes all products in the windows category. If you want to remove or add a product category, you can do it from here. Please follow the steps described below:

On your VELUX Touch

  1. Select one or more product categories (Window, Exterior sunscreening or Interior sunscreening) to close when tapping the shortcut button.
    Note: Depending on your setup, all categories might not be displayed.
  2. Confirm modification to Close all products.
    Hint: If your VELUX Touch is not controlling windows, the Close all products button is hidden by default. You can at any time add or edit the functionality to meet your personal preferences.

Edit Silent operation

This article shows how to select products to be controlled silently.

Edit your VELUX Touch to minimise the noise from your products when operated. Your settings will take effect on all products within the selected category. Please follow the steps described below:

On your VELUX Touch

  1. Select one or more product categories (Window, Exterior sunscreening or Interior sunscreening) to run slowly, thereby reducing the noise generated during operation.
    Note: Depending on your setup, all categories might not be displayed.
  2. Confirm modification to Silent operation. 

Edit Ventilation timer

This article shows how to select which windows to open, their opening level and the ventilation duration.

Edit your VELUX Touch to meet your preferences. By default, the ventilation timer opens all windows to 50% and closes them after 15 minutes.
If you want to remove or add a product or change the opening level or the duration, you can do it from here. Please follow the steps described below:

On your VELUX Touch

  1. Tap the product button to select the products to be controlled. Select your preferred products by tapping the product reference number.
  2. Confirm product selection.
  3. Tap the time button to select the ventilation duration. Select your preferred timing from 5 to 60 minutes.
  4. Confirm time selection.
  5. Tap the opening level button to select the window opening position. Select your preferred level. There are five options, from ventilation position to maximum opened.
  6. Confirm selected opening level.

Note: Some window types do not support the ventilation position, which is why the window remains closed when selecting this position.
In case it starts to rain while the window is open, the rain sensor always closes the window automatically.

About VELUX Touch

This article shows how to reset your VELUX Touch and how to check the battery level, software version and hardware version.

Get technical information on your VELUX Touch, or perform a factory reset to clear all information stored. Please follow the steps described below:

On your VELUX Touch

Read the information on current battery level and software (FW) and hardware (HW) versions.

Factory reset

If you want to clear all information stored in your VELUX Touch and return to the default settings, you can easily reset the control.
Tap the RESET button, and confirm product reset.
Your control will now reset and be ready for a new installation.

Add products

This article shows how to add (import) extra products to your VELUX Touch.

Add more products to your VELUX Touch when your home or product needs change. If you want to add a product to the control pad, you can do it easily in just a few steps. Please follow the steps described below:

New products with a paired control (KLI 31x)

  1. Select the wall switch option on VELUX Touch.
  2. Confirm selection.
  3. Tap the front button (up or down icons) on the wall switch to verify that the product can be controlled.
  4. Locate the settings button (gear icon) on the side of the wall switch.
  5. Press the settings button briefly with a pointed object, bringing the product(s) into pairing mode. Products are moving briefly back and forth for confirmation of pairing mode.
  6. Confirm on VELUX Touch to start the product search.

New products without a paired control

  1. Select the no control option on VELUX Touch.
  2. Confirm selection.
  3. Scan the QR code for information on what to do if the product has no paired control.
  4. Confirm on VELUX Touch to start the product search. 

Add a wall switch

This article shows how to add a wall switch to a product already controlled by VELUX Touch.

Add a wall switch to your product if needed. If you want to add a wall switch to a specific product (or group of products), you can do it easily in just a few steps. Please follow the steps described below:

On your VELUX Touch

  1. Select the product category (Window, Exterior sunscreening or Interior sunscreening) with the product you wish to be controlled by a wall switch.
    Note: Depending on your setup, all categories might not be displayed.
  2. Select the specific product or group of products, you wish to control by the wall switch KLI.
  3. Confirm selected product or group of products.
  4. Pair wall switch KLI with the selected product: On wall switch KLI, press the pairing button (icon with two circles) briefly using a pointed object.

Note: After each product is selected it starts to move briefly. This movement indicates the selection made.
