Start by filling out our quick online form, where you can upload images, floor plans, and project details. Once submitted, you'll receive a link to your personal project page, where you can add more information anytime.
Your advisor will contact you within 5 working days to confirm details and arrange a consultation by video, phone, or in person at our Glenrothes showroom. After your consultation, you'll receive a personalised product overview with pricing, and you can request adjustments or a free visualisation - no commitment required.
For installation, you can use your own installer or book our VELUX Certified Installation Service. If you choose our service, an installer can visit your home for €150 (inc. VAT), which is deducted from your final installation cost. You'll receive a fixed-price quote, extended warranties, and full peace of mind.

When completing the form, describe your project and upload any images, floor plans, or inspiration. If you forget something, you can upload more details later via your personal project page, which you’ll receive access to via email. A separate email will contain your password.

Design stage: Up to 1 month (often quicker, depending on project size).
Installation Service: Typically 8-12 weeks from when you pay the deposit (subject to installer availability).

Meetings last up to 1 hour, depending on the project size. No preparation is required, but sharing project details, images, or floor plans in advance will help us provide a more detailed consultation.

Yes! You can visit our showroom in Glenrothes, Fife. When your advisor contacts you, they’ll arrange a suitable time and date. Alternatively, you can request a virtual meeting via Microsoft Teams.

Yes! We’ll provide a detailed quote for your products and installation (if applicable). You’ll usually receive this within 48 hours after your consultation or any installer visit. More complex projects or those with visualisations may take slightly longer.

Yes! We support you from start to finish. Once installation is complete, our VELUX After Sales team is also available for any questions or assistance.
How does the guarantee work?

If using your own installer:
- VELUX blinds and shutters: 3-year guarantee
- VELUX solar and electric roof windows: 5-year guarantee on electrical components
- All other VELUX roof windows: 10-year guarantee
Register your solar or electric roof windows for an extra 5 years of cover on electrical components.
If using our Installation Service:
- The same product guarantees as above
- 10-year installation guarantee from VELUX
- All installers are VELUX Certified Installers, trained, and monitored by VELUX
