The exterior surface
The first thing you need to consider is the exterior surface of your flat roof window. If you want to bring daylight into uninhabited spaces, such as garages, sheds, or smaller industrial buildings, our dome is the perfect, cost-efficient solution. The opaque dome skin provides diffused daylight, giving a good level of illumination for working without glare. It is also suitable for installations with a 0° roof pitch.
For improved insulation, energy efficiency and noise control, the flat roof windows with glazing are ideal. The size of the rooflight
Flat roof windows can provide three times more daylight than facade windows. We recommend that the size of your roof window should be at least 10% of your room floor area. VELUX flat roof windows come in a variety of sizes.

The glazing of your windows
