In true loft spaces, the pitch of the roof continues to the floor. And now you can extend your Velux window so it fits flush with your floor.

Whether your window frames are wooden (GIL) or polyurethane (GIU), we can help you flood your space with natural light and give you a commanding view. Our lower add-on frames connect directly to the frames above, so there’s no unsightly obstruction – just large windows that stretch to the floor.

Product features:

The GIL is made of lacquered pine.
The GIU is a polyurethane window with a strong, wooden core.
Upgrade either window with laminated inner glass (60) or tempered outer glass (59).
Fitted with composite safety glass for increased protection from noise and burglary.
You can combine the GIU with any one of our other polyurethane windows – GGU, GPU, GHU and GTU.
You can combine the GIL with any one of our other solid pine windows – GGL, GPL, GHL and GTL.
